Offering family’s in-home support to enhance their child’s development so that they grow up to be healthy, happy, and safe
The Nzen’man’ Early Years Home Visiting Programs offers universal support to Indigenous infants and young children up to age 6 and their families throughout the Nlaka’pamux Nation.
The Nzen'man' Early Years Home Visiting Program offers developmentally appropriate home-based activities and experiences for families that are designed to support and enhance their child's development within their own environment. Home visits and activities are planned in collaboration with families and can be scheduled to best meet the families needs.
Our staff is also available to assist families to access a wide array of supports such as: parenting information and workshops, nutrition, child health, school-readiness, and help to answer any questions or concerns about their child's development. Staff can also assist families to access early intervention supports such as speech and language and child development assessments.
